Undergraduate American Chemical Society
The purpose of the American Chemical Society is to promote interest in chemistry through professional development and fun events. We hold hands-on events and demonstrations, including making liquid nitrogen ice cream, creating bismuth crystals, and making bouncy balls. We strive to explain the chemistry behind these experiments so our members can gain a deeper understanding of chemistry. The ACS also works to prepare students for life after college through professional development events, advice, and news of opportunities for internships and research as an undergrad.
