For SUNY and SUNY-affiliated Institutions

The Offshore Wind Training Institute (OWTI) seeks to provide grants to entities within or affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY) system that will accelerate the development of an offshore wind workforce for the New York offshore wind industry. Doing so will directly support the State of New York in developing a diverse and highly qualified local workforce capable of constructing, manufacturing, installing, operating, and maintaining offshore wind farms, in addition to performing electrical grid integration, storage, and other onshore projects.
