Keisha Butler joined the Stony Brook Small Business Development Center (SBDC) in January 2025, bringing with her over 24 yearof experience as an Administrative Service Professional. Her expertise spans office management, conference planning, & financial operations. Keisha is known for her exceptional attention to detail, her willingness to learn, and her commitment to providing vital support to her team. She is skilled in bringing people together to create meaningful partnerships and drive collective success. As an integral member of the SBDC, she provides essential support to team members in their efforts to assist small businesses, contributing to their growth and long-term success. Prior to joining the SBDC, Keisha served for 21 years as an Administrative Assistant in the Regional Perinatal Center at Stony Brook  Medicine. In that role, she managed the daily operations of the office and was responsible for both financial and administrative support. Her background includes managing state budgets as well as grants and contracts at both the state and federal levels. Keisha’s dedication to service has earned her several honors. She is a recipient of the Martin Luther King Jr. Meritorious Award for outstanding service and was recognized with a Proclamation from the Suffolk County Legislature, presented by Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory, for her impactful community activism.
