John joined the SBDC in 2026, bringing more than 40 years of banking and commercial lending experience focused on helping businesses access capital and grow. A credit-trained commercial lender, he has extensive experience in business lending, including SBA partnerships, as well as deposit and cash management solutions for small and middle-market companies.

Throughout his career, John has served clients across Long Island, Brooklyn, and Queens while working for major financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, Valley National Bank, Provident Bank, Gold Coast Bank, and First National Bank of Long Island.

John brings deep expertise across a wide range of industries and is committed to helping SBDC clients identify effective financing solutions. He holds a BS from New York Institute of
Technology and has served in leadership roles with local Chambers of Commerce and Lions
Clubs International.
