Physics Summer Program 

Discover the wonders of physics at our one-week, hands-on program. Designed for high school students who have not yet taken a physics course, this engaging program includes exciting topics like Newtonian Mechanics, Light, Electricity, and Quantum Mechanics.

Dates:	July 13 - 17, 2026
Application Deadline:	May 1, 2026
Application Instructions:	Student fills out Applicaton Form (see below).  Teachers fill out Recommendation Forms (see below).  Students need to share the link to this page with the teachers who need to fill out their recommendation forms.
Cost:	$650
Eligibility:	Students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall 2026.  Students with a strong interest and background in math and science are encouraged to apply. This program is not for students who have taken physics.
Lab Hours:	Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm Friday 9:00am - 2:00pm

Each day, students will:
Explore fascinating physical phenomena;
Design, build, and test projects related to the day's theme;
Take measurements and analyze results.

Participants will experience hands-on interactive activities, indoors in our physics building and outdoors on our beautiful campus, as well as enjoy guided tours of cutting-edge campus facilities and research labs. 

The week culminates in a Family Showcase, where students will share their projects and discoveries!
