My career spans more than three decades in financial services, banking, strategic development, mergers and acquisitions, and financial technology. My experience with organizations such as Citigroup, U.S. Bank, Flagstar Bank, Fiserv, WebMD, First Data, and Dime Savings Bank of NY enables me to incorporate practical examples into classroom instruction that illustrate the operational realities of financial markets, lending systems, risk management, and organizational decision-making. By contextualizing abstract concepts within real institutional settings, students gain a stronger understanding of how analytical methods are used in practice and why quantitative reasoning matters in professional environments. I also emphasize the growing importance of technology and data analytics in business education. Advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, financial technology, and data-driven decision systems continue to reshape the modern business landscape. I integrate contemporary developments in AI, business intelligence, and predictive analytics into classroom discussions and assignments. My doctoral research in Business Intelligence and Data Science further informs this approach by examining how advanced analytical methods influence financial systems and mortgage securitization outcomes. I encourage students to critically evaluate both the opportunities and limitations associated with emerging technologies, particularly the ethical and institutional implications of algorithmic decision-making.

Research: The evolution of artificial intelligence, machine learning, financial technology, and data-driven decision systems is continually transforming the contemporary business environment. My research incorporates current advancements in AI, business intelligence, and predictive analytics. My doctoral research in Business Intelligence and Data Science further enhances this approach by investigating how sophisticated analytical methodologies impact financial systems and mortgage securitization outcomes. Dissertation Title: The Impact of Mortgage Securitization on Foreclosure Outcomes. Purpose Statement: This study assesses the impact of private-label securitization in comparison to government-sponsored entity (GSE) securitization on financial system outcomes. Research Question: Do delinquent loans securitized by GSEs exhibit distinct foreclosure patterns compared to those securitized by private-label entities?
